NEVADA: a lot of desert with the oasis of Las Vegas
For us, Nevada was a big desert. Long straight streets, big rocks along the way, heat, dryness and an endless view was everything we could see before entering the casino towns Laughlin and Las Vegas. It was amazing for us to see the American desert and especially the city of sins VEGAS!
THE CITY OF FUN, LOVE AND SIN WHERE EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
Another bucket list destination on our road trip was the fabulous Las Vegas! We couldn’t wait getting there, discovering the casinos, exploring the shows, enjoying the atmosphere and getting married real Vegas style by Elvis!
We stayed there for 7 nights and really needed the time to be able to see everything in a relaxed way. We watched almost all the casinos along the Strip from Mandalay Bay up to Fermont Street. For us especially the middle with Ceasar’s Palace, Flamingo and Paris Paris was amazing to discover. The themes inside the casinos are great and let you forget the time of the day. The pools and entertaining options are endless and it is so much fun to just walk around, watch the people and find out the special corners of the different casinos. From elegant to older classy, every taste can find the perfect location there. A special fun bar was the Piano Bar at Harrah’s where we spend an evening singing and having a lot of joy listening to the artists. By being in Vegas, it is almost an obligation to watch a show. We decided to watch the magical show of Xavier Mortimer at Bally’s – it was great!
Our most special event was to get married again in Vegas by the king itself. We went to the Little White Chapel and had the pleasure to get a beautiful ceremony performance by Elvis.
Honestly, there is so much to do in Vegas. In the end we visited 24 different casinos, tried the bars, restaurants and enjoyed strolling along the strip! Vegas is fun and completely worth a visit!
Nevada was especially fun for us thanks to beautiful Las Vegas! We had an amazing time and it is impressive that there is this big oasis in the middle of Nevada’s desert!
